Summary:
Age of Learning’s Curriculum Team is the driving force behind the student-facing content in all the company’s educational products, including products such as ABCmouse.com, My Math Academy, and My Reading Academy. Our commitment to designing learning activities of the highest quality has made Age of Learning products some of the top-ranking educational apps in the U.S.
As part of the Curriculum Planning and Design (CPD) team, Curriculum Specialists work closely with other team members to conduct, synthesize, and present research to stakeholders; work directly with CPD leadership to apply research to curriculum plans and designs; collaborate with a team of talented educators, game designers, artists, animators, engineers, and producers to develop the digital learning experiences, and more.
This position reports to the VP of Curriculum Planning & Design and focuses on researching, planning, and designing mathematics learning for children in grades 3-8. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of upper elementary and secondary math, particularly as it relates to the ways young learners develop their mathematics foundations in anticipation of learning algebra.. This person also exhibits commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. This person thrives within a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment and is comfortable both collaboratively and independently.
